Background
Donna spent several years attending Dialysis for End Renal Kidney failure which is ultimately what she finally succumbed to. Due to Donna's failing health she was unable to work from 2013-onward. The last month of her life Donna was in a transitional care nursing facility while on Hospice. Hospice was covered financially by Medicare, the room and board expenses associated with her stay were not. Her family is now navigating though immeasurable loss while also assessing the mounting financial impact of her passing.
