Donna Sue Smith, age 64, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs, Missouri. Born on March 24, 1960, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was a daughter to the late Charles Huskey and Alma (Radford) Huskey.

Donna was the proud mother of three sons who remain to treasure her memory: James Huskey, David Smith, and Terry Smith. Her legacy also continues through her eight cherished grandchildren—Kaleb, Cierra, Tiana, Alexis, Josie, Landon, Destin, and Liam—and two great-grandchildren, Jimmy and Levi. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alma Huskey; her husband, Jim Smith; her son, Robert Huskey; and her siblings, Robert and Janet Huskey.

Visitation services will be held at DeClue Family Funeral Home in Potosi on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, as well as on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will follow on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment and final prayers will be held at Bonne Terre Cemetery.

Donna Sue Smith will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit, warmth, and laughter will forever be etched in the memories of her family and friends. DeClue Funeral Home was honored to care for Donna's funeral arrangements.
