Mrs. Donna Jean Wright Patterson

Background
HD runs in Donna's direct family bloodline. In 1993 she tested negative for the HD gene and therefore HD was eradicated from our family bloodline. However, the fight for a cure continues for so many families. Please donate in memory of Donna’s father Clare Benjamin, great aunt Carolyn Wright, brother Richard Bartlett and niece Carolyn Bartlett who all passed away from Huntington's Disease.
Donna had Congestive Heart Failure as did her mother and and grandmother. There is a familial component to this disease. The comprehensive heart failure research program at UC Davis is a phenomenal program, continuing research on this disease and the genetics involved in familial heart failure.
