She paved the way for SIRS, New Canaan, CT. Later she went on to work for The Chronicle and Diverse: Issues In Higher Education. As a co-founder of Women and Wine, Cheers to a good cause at Volunteer Alexandria she really thrived as a connector. Her entrepreneurial pursuit was Global Education Collections which she founded in 2016.
The family has lost a compassionate person, with a lot of patience, grace and style. She loved to cook and could rival the gourmet chefs, volunteering for charity, and working in K-12. Higher Education was her most important quest. She worked tirelessly to help educate and diversify schools and libraries, not just here in the US but around the world. She will be forever remembered and missed by so many people who had the pleasure of knowing her.
The family invites relatives and friends to join them in celebrating Donna’s life on Saturday, October 26th with a 9:45 service at St Leo’s Church, 24 Roxbury Road in Stamford. Donna will be laid to rest at Queen of Peace cemetery at 124 Rock Rimmon Road in Stamford. A luncheon for family and friends to gather, share memories and celebrate Donna’s life and legacy will follow.
