Donna Lou Carter, 84, of North Liberty, IA passed away on April 8, 2024 in the comfort of her home.

Donna was born to Frank and Hazel Anderson of Davenport, IA on May 25, 1939.

Donna and John raised five children in Hills, IA, later moving to the North Liberty area in the mid 1980s.

Donna worked at Mercy Hospital laundry for a period of time.  She worked for West High dietary until retirement.

Donna was an avid sewer and crocheter, at one point selling hats and scarves.  Her grandchildren were the center of her world in later years.

Donna is survived by her children Todd(Dee)Carter, Kim(Bill)Plank, Dawn(Scott Martinez)Carter, eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Pat, her son Randy, her daughter Lisa and her husband John.

There will be a private graveside ceremony at a later date.
