I had been thinking of Donna all day today, as it was her birthday.  I decided to look her up. I had no idea she had passed away. We had so many adventures in our early 20s in Sonoma County. Things became complicated between us, but I have always held her in my heart as a beloved. She was so incredibly talented in so many areas. I am grieving.

I am a part of the Santa Cruz dance community. While I didn’t know Donna, I can only imagine her dance and the joy she cultivated for herself and others. May her dance continue through all of us and remind us to love each day with grace and peace. Bless you Lena for seeing her transformation into another realm with respect and honor. 

Donna and I weren't friends.  I don't believe she knew me at all.  However, I remember Donna (Rutsky) from Ryan JHS and Fresh Meadows, NY.  I had a huge crush on Donna throughout JHS but she didn't seem to notice me. That's how it goes in life. So, this may seem strange, but my intentions are sincere. I recently found out about her passing and am really so sad to hear about this.  I'm happy to see she lived life to the fullest and may she rest in heavenly peace.  Sincerely,  Richard Rinaldi.
