I met Donna when I became her care-giver soon after her son passed away. We spent hours together talking. She loved keeping me up to date on her grand children as well as sharing hiw proud she was of her son, as he rose in the ranks in the military. She told me about her mom and dad and her siblings. She listened and loved hearing about my crazy dating life, family drama, and the son I was raising. She was a true friend, so thoughtful. Always sending me out to buy cards for her special people. One Christmas eve I visited Donna. We shared snacks and some cocktails. Donna knew I loved to do karaoke and liked to sing. So she asked me to sing a song for her. The song was "Angel" by Sarah McLaughlin. It was special to her because it was played at her mom's service. So I sang it for her, and she cried. It was a special night, I was able to share my gift with her. I will cherish that memory....that was her gift to me.

Donna and I met back in 1979, over 40 years ago. Donna was working at the Five A Cafe when we met , we became good friends if she needed help like a ride somewhere I was there to help. If I needed a babysitter she would help. I even started cutting and coloring her hair, she would n’t go to the hairdresser!! I miss Donna very much, we have a lot of memories!! Pete, Rhonda, Karla, Lu Ann and grand kids . I am so very sorry for your loss!! Janet Nai

Peter, Lu, Rhonda, Karla, we extend our condolences to you and the rest of the family and friends. I cannot think of anyone who laughed more than Donna. And I know that her sisters and Phyllis laughed A LOT! May the memories live on.
