It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Fetting on June 18, 2024. Born on June 30, 1932, Donna lived a vibrant and fulfilling life, leaving a profound impact on everyone she encountered.
Donna was a woman of extraordinary strength and determination. She was a true Southern belle who relished in the region's distinctive cooking. Her favorite pastimes included cooking, gardening, and canning; traditional activities that she employed with great skill and enthusiasm.
Donna was fiercely dedicated to her family, a cause that meant everything to her. She gifted her loved ones with endless laughter and wisdom, teaching them the virtues of independence and hard work. Her legacy remains in the strong, hardworking family she raised, and her lessons continue to guide them.
Purple was her color of choice, matching her sassy and stubborn personality. These traits, while at times challenging, were part of her charm and made her the indomitable matriarch she was. Donna's strong-willed ways will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
One of Donna's notable accomplishments was spending her earlier years traveling and performing songs. Her voice touched many hearts, creating lasting memories for those lucky enough to hear her.
Donna is survived by her children James Malone, Sherry Pridgen, Audrey Raposo, Judith Smith, , and Linda Cochrane; She leaves multiple grandchildren. Great grandchildren and blessed with great -great grandchildren. Donna was predeceased by her daughter, Roberta Cooley, and grandson, Michael Styes.
Donna's resilience, sharp wit, and nurturing spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones. As we remember Donna, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the enduring influence she continues to impart.
