Background
Donna developed macular degeneration in her later years which got progressively worse. She was unable to drive and was considered legally blind. The BrightFocus Foundation is a nonprofit organization that specializes in worldwide research to end age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, and Alzheimer’s disease. Macular degeneration is a cause that Donna wanted people to donate to after she passed in lieu of flowers. You can donate directly to brightfocus.org on Donna’s behalf or at 22512 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg, MD, 20871.
