Donna's obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Donna Demarcello, on February 3, 2024. Donna was born on September 10, 1967, and in her 56 years, she touched many lives with her sweet, loving, and witty personality. Always quick with a smart retort, Donna brought smiles and laughter to those around her.

Donna was a devoted mother, survived by her daughters, Dana Stephenson and Alexis Arnold, and her son, Michael J. Arnold. She will always be remembered for the love and care she had for her children, which was undeniably one of her greatest accomplishments. She is also survived by her sister, Cynthia Hanks. Their shared bond and enduring relationship provided a source of strength and comfort to Donna throughout her life.

Donna was predeceased by her mother, Myra Woldanski; father, David Woldanski; brother, John Woldanski; grandmother, Anna Gundel; and her ex-husbands, Michael E. Arnold and Louis J. Demarcello. Each of these individuals played an important role in her life, and their memories continued to influence her long after their passings.

Donna's joy in life came from simple pleasures. She was a fan of the TV show General Hospital, and often enjoyed spending her leisure time watching episodes of the long-running series. Her greatest pleasure, however, was spending time with her children. Simple moments, shared laughs, and the daily routines of family life were the sources of her deepest satisfaction and joy.

She also held a deep fondness for vacation spots including Long Beach Island, NJ, and Coronado, CA. These locales provided Donna with much-needed relaxation and acted as sources of many happy memories.

Donna Demarcello will be deeply missed by those who knew her. Her sweet nature, loving demeanor, and witty humor left indelible marks on those she interacted with. Her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
