Donna's obituary
Donna Claire Crain (Adams), a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama, danced into the arms of Jesus for eternity on February 21, 2024, after battling a brief diagnosis of stage four brain cancer. She was 63 years old. Donna was born February 16, 1961, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the daughter of Mary Claire Wilson (Ted) and the late Donald Adams (Brenda).
Survivors include her daughters, Mary-Claire Marshall (Garrett), Jessica Bernal (Ryan); grandchildren, Joseph and Braxton Marshall; mother, Mary Claire Wilson (Ted); four sisters, Karen Braswell (Clay), Shelley Bolen (Jim), Laura Adams and Amy Adams; one brother, Gene Jones (Stacey) and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Donna is preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Lucia Martin and James Adams; father, Donald Adams, and her nephew, Joshua Braswell.
Donna was a graduate of W.P. Davidson High School (1979) and a well-known make-up artist in the cosmetic industry in Mobile, Alabama. Donna exhibited an unbiased love to those she surrounded and always remained steadfast in her faith in the Lord. She enjoyed being “Grandma” to her grandchildren, dancing, gardening, decorating, and fashion. A Memorial Service will be held to honor her life and legacy at Life Church of Mobile on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 5 P.M.
