I met Donna through a mutual coworker and friend as a young teacher and new mother. She showered me with motherly love and loved on my kids like a grandmother. I lost my mother just before I found out I was pregnant with my first, Donna was the answer to many a prayer. Her joy, love, and laughter live on through my children. Rest easy, Donna.

I was so sad to hear of Donna's passing. I became close to Donna through the Cadillac Public Library, where I work. We also became lunch buddies and would meet once a month to enjoy each other's company and of course our favorite Caesar Salad! She had so many wonderful stories to tell and I just ate them up! I will always treasure our friendship. May she rest without pain and with her daughter that I knew she missed dearly.
