Donielle "Lala" Founta Elias, 37, passed on Thursday, August 20, 2020, in Jacksonville, Florida, after fighting a long battle with breast cancer.

Donielle was born in West Virginia. She started a new life in Jacksonville, Florida, as a baby. She grew into her teenage years in the Houston, Texas area. Eventually she returned to Jacksonville, FL for the remainder of her years. She maintained a 4.0 GPA in her Medical Assistant program. She graduated in the top of her class in cosmetology school. With her intellect and beauty, she could have done anything she wanted, but what she really loved was bartending. Many of Donielle's regular clients and coworkers came to be her close friends. Donielle was an enthusiastic animal lover and had several pets. She leaves behind two, Meatball, a dog, and Casper, an albino corn snake. Of course no one could forget Hamilton. She was predeceased by her dogs, Rio and Sharmuta. She loved to sing karaoke and had a beautiful voice. She was always cheerful and positive throughout her battle with breast cancer. Her strong spirit shone through to the very end with her declaring, "I can beat this!"
