2025
— with Robb Sharp, James Esely and John Huff
I’m grateful for the years we worked together and for all the care he put into handling my locker projects at Legacy Lockers. His honesty, patience, and attention to detail made a big difference in my work and allowed me to learn the process of building high‑end custom lockers. I’ll miss our conversations, the fun (and gut‑wrenching!) thrill of going fast in his Polaris on lunch trips, and the steady way he approached every challenge in designing and building lockers. I was able to see firsthand the generosity and appreciation he had for the Legacy Lockers team and my family, especially in the way he showed my son how to use a drink dispenser and didn’t make a fit when a spill happened. I hope to take everything I learned from him—both at work and outside of work, especially the way he loved his family—and model these qualities in my own life. Praying for comfort and peace for the whole Ullrich family during this time.

Don

to me; was a private/reserved man. A man of few words. I didn’t have many conversations with him, but the few times I did, he was always respectful and cordial. I saw/heard a man ready to give and teach his knowledge. After reading his obituary, I learn his heart was for his loved ones/ family. A sense I had in our pre-hire interview (makes sense). Not only his blood family, but he had that same heart for his Legacy Lockers family. His heart and dedication to all of it and everyone was very admirable.  Ready to get in the trenches and do what’s needed. Him applying his God given talents at every opportunity. I personally thank God for allowing me the opportunity to see his presence and love thru Don Ulrich .

May he rest in peace and may God be with his loved ones in their time of need!

Don always made me feel welcomed and respected. With time we developed a great relationship and I always was able to learn something good from him. Family was his most loved thing and he always had a smile when talking about it. Our most sincere condolences
Don was always full of life, love and laughter! Thankful for the peace of knowing he is with his Heavenly Father! We will miss him! You are all in our thoughts and prayers! Mark, Susan, Gabriella, Sarah, Luke and John

I will always cherish memories of uncle Don’s boisterous character. He was always making people laugh or laughing himself. From teaching me how to water (algae) ski on Lake Elsinore to getting to stay with he and Aunt Connie the last time I was in Dallas to the fun we had in Neskowin a few years ago, it was always a fun time. Recently he and I had been corresponding about challenges in life and he spoke with such wisdom and insight. Uncle Don loved his family so much. My heart aches, but I know we will see him again. From the Montanan Ullrich’s to the Texan Ullrich’s, you are in our thoughts and prayers day and night.
Oh, Texas Ullrich family and Duncan’s and Mom, my heart breaks for you in this loss. May God make his presence felt to you in your sorrow. Remember we’ll see Don at the great wedding feast. All my love Jim
