Donald Eric Svensk, age 73 of Farmington, CT passed away peacefully at home with family on Thursday June 19th 2025 from cancer. Don was born in may of 1952 and raised in New Britain, CT with his parents Mildred and Eric Svensk. He was raised with his siblings George Murtha of Canton, CT, Margorie Butler(passed) of Old Saybrook, CT and Robert Svensk of Southport, CT. Don worked at DATAMAIL for many years and then moved to CV Tool where he retired in May of this year. Don loved to wood work and cooking was his passion. He also loved to come up with cool inventions that he made come to life and became very useful in his everyday life. Don also enjoyed going out to the local establishments for a bite to eat and good conversation with his friends. Don was married to Salvatrice Svensk for a good number of years until they parted ways and became good friends. Don leaves behind his son Eric svensk and daughter in law Jennifer svensk of Vernon, CT. And his grandchildren Justin Svensk of Vernon, CT and Jacob Svensk of New London, CT. Don also leaves behind his two cats Vinny and Emma who are now living with Eric and Jennifer.
