Good guy and a great running back in high school.

Larry was like my Big brother growing up in Brooklyn,His friendship and leadership made me and my children competitors and better people. Wish I could have told Him that, I believe he knew that.

It was so sad to learn of Larry's passing. We were teammates at Western Michigan, and I lived on the same floor of the dorm where he and Sam Antonazzo shared a room. I can confirm Sam's comment about the open window. You could feel the cold air down the hall. Larry was tougher than nails and an excellent football player. He was also a bit of a character, as his family and friends already know, but he had a heart of gold. I thought of him often over the years and will continue to do so now. Our team was a special group of athletes, who forged a bond that will last even in death. Rest in peace, Brother. Go Broncos!

So sorry to here as I just found out. Larry was my roommate and teammate at Western. We had so many great times. Lots of laughs. Larry was a competitor and a real team player. We were part of Westerns first Mac championship team. I considered him a true farm boy as we had to sleep with the window open all winter. I had no choice. He was much bigger. What a guy, Rest In Peace brother.

We are so very sorry to hear that Larry passed. We have been fortunate over the years to be able to spend many wonderful holidays with him and have lots of fond memories of those times. It was always apparent to us that he loved his family and especially loved being with his grandkids. He extended that to me, Todd, and always treated Ben as one of his own grandkids. We will miss him and send all of our love to all of you.

There are so many things that remind me of my dad. I have been blessed to have a father that has loved, pushed, cheered, and yes was tough on me through the years.

My dad tried over the years to help so many around me. We always seemed to have a new friend come over for dinner, come over to work out, or just to stop by for the video my dad recorded for them.

I can’t tell you how many wrestlers over the years told me that my father was like a dad to them. I didn’t think much of it as it was normal for me. He was my dad. But in hindsight you come to realize that not everyone had a dad like yours.

I want to make sure that if you are reading this we are not soliciting donations. We would just rather give back to the wrestling team he loved so much instead of getting flowers or gift baskets.

Thank you and Godspeed.

So sorry to hear of Larry's passing. He was a great man and influenced many lives, including mine. I have so many memories of him growing up. From the summer job at Ford before leaving for the Navy, to clearing the furniture out of the living room to wrestle or him coming to get Brad and I when we wrecked my Mom's car. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you guys. RIP Thunder.
