Don's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald "Don" Sipe, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, serviceman, and exceedingly hard-working individual, who left this world on August 22, 2023.
Don was born on November 2, 1940, and through his years, he cultivated an ethic of hard work that would define his life and resonate with those who were fortunate to cross his path. He was well-known and respected in his community, leaving a legacy of strength and dedication.
As a proud veteran of the United States Airforce, his service to the country stands as one of his greatest accomplishments. His dedication, courage, and commitment during his service were emblematic of his overall character and an example for others to follow. Even after his service, his selflessness endured, touching the lives of many.
Don is survived by his wife, Ethel, children Jennifer, Tammy and Greg, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The bond they shared was truly special, and his love and guidance have left an indelible mark on their lives. His memory will be cherished through the stories shared and the wisdom he imparted.
A Celebration of Life service will be held to honor Don on September 24, 2023, at 3:00 PM at 8114 Leo Kidd Ave, dinner to follow. Additionally, a burial service will take place on September 25, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Bay Pines National Cemetery. These moments of reflection provide an opportunity to remember Don's exceptional life and say our goodbyes.
While we mourn the loss of a truly remarkable man, we also celebrate the life he led, the people he touched, and the legacy he leaves behind. His spirit, encapsulated by his hard work and unwavering dedication to his family and country, will continue to inspire us for years to come. Don, you will be missed profoundly by all who knew you.
