Donald Richards Jr, 46, died unexpectedly April 16, 2021, at his home in Kennebunk, Maine. Donald was a long-time Stamford, CT resident.

Donald was born on Nov 2, 1974, in Stamford, CT to Donald and Michele Richards. Donald was happily married to Samantha Richards and spent the last several years together in Maine.

Donald a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and uncle is survived by his mother, Michele Richards; his wife, Samantha Richards; his four children, Donald Richards 3rd, Caleb Richards, Kaymi Richards, Aiden Richards; his siblings Kimberly Warner, Christopher Richards; his nephews, Dominic & Vincent Uva, Greyson & Archer Richards.

We never think we would have to write an obituary for a brother so early in life. Donald was loved by so many and those reading this today will feel the same pain we do. Trying to understand the “why” behind life can tend to be perplexing. My advice to each is to lock on to the positives, the infectious smile, the jokes (sometimes awkward), and his heart. Donald had the kindest of hearts, always looking to help where he could, and would truly give you the shirt off his back when needed. My favorite memory is met with simplicity as I would watch Donald sit back and light up with pride watching his four children laugh and play. You can easily tell how being a father was the single biggest impact on his life.

With a heavy heart, Donald will be sorely missed.
