Don's obituary
Donald "Don" Albert Peach Jr.
11/28/56 - 01/27/25
Along with three siblings, Don was raised in the small town of Kewanee, IL by his parents, Don and Gwen Peach. Don's parents were devout Jehovah's Witnesses and helped their children develop a strong love for Jehovah God as well. At age 18 Don left home for Wallkill Bethel, where he met some of his best friends and made lifelong happy memories. While in New York he also met his loving and faithful wife, Lori. Don and Lori later welcomed two children, Donald and Kirsten and raised them in Rockford, IL where Don gained friends like family. Don had the joy of experiencing the additions to his family of daughter-in-law Lauren and grandchildren Wyatt, 6 and Liam, 3. Don would do anything for his family. Don was also a hard worker. He was President of Quiet Light Communications where he enjoyed working with a close-knit team for 20+ years. Don loved working hard for Jehovah, never saying no to an assignment. Most recently, Don had the privilege of serving on the body of elders alongside his son. He greatly cherished the Willow River congregation in Hudson, WI. We miss our husband, father, brother, and friend and long to see him again when "the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." (1 Cor 15:26)
Don is survived by wife Lori, son Donald (Lauren) Peach, daughter Kirsten Peach, sister Ivy (Tad) Curtis, sister Susan (Erick) Bosch, brother Daniel (Laurie) Peach, grandson Wyatt Peach, and grandson Liam Peach. He is preceded in death by father, Don Peach and mother, Gwen Peach.
