Donald's obituary

Donald Wayne McElyea II passed on Sunday, March 22nd in House Springs, Missouri. Donald was born on September 2, 1973 to Donald Wayne McElyea and the late Vicky McElyea. He went to Northwest High School. He is survived by his wife, Irish McElyea, his son, Austin McElyea and three siblings; Patrick McElyea (Jan), Matthew McElyea (Melinda), Rebecca Ault (Chad) and four nieces and nephews (Morgan, Mackenzy, Madison, and Marc). Donald worked as a Crane Operator at Pacific Rail for several years before going on disability for medical issues.

Donald attended Soul Harvest Church of God in House Springs, Missouri and spent many years there working with the ministry staff. When he was able, he would preach and play drums. He was a man of God, who was always thinking of how to help the community.

Donald is being cremated and a Memorial Service will be on June 27th, at 12pm at Soul Harvest Church of God. The address is 4568 Church Rd, House Springs, MO 63051 . Please do not send flowers at this time, but if you would like to send a gift for Donnie's widow, Irish McElyea, please reach out to Rebecca Ault at becca.ault@yahoo.com for their address. Flowers will be accepted during Memorial Service. Light refreshments will be served after the service.
