Obituary of Donald R. McEachran

September 6, 1933 - June 17, 2024

Donald R. McEachran. Age 90 of Woodhaven.

Beloved husband of Carol J. (nee: Juergens) McEachran. Loving father of Catherine (Gregory) Montagne, Barbara (Timothy) Dillon and Sandra (Lawrence) Seychel. Dearest grandfather of Grady L. Eggers, Ashley (Brent) Murphy, Jordan Eggers, Edward Eggers, Shelly (Jonathan) Eggers, Holly (Michael) McQuaid, John (Rosa) Dillon and Steven Seychel. Great grandfather of Madelyn Murphy, Giovanni Dillon, Rocco Dillon, Lucio Dillon and Jeremiah (Shayian) Walton. Preceded in death by parents Edward W. and Nellie (nee: Monk) McEachran, son Donald A. McEachran and brothers Edward (Shirley) McEachran, Robert (Veronica) McEachran and Walter McEachran. Also survived by former son in-law Grady T. Eggers, many cousins, nephews, nieces and dear friends.

Donald was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Wyandotte. He attended Henry Ford Community College and Lawrence Technological University. In addition, he earned extensive trade school training and many certifications. He was employed by McLouth Steel. A Korean War Veteran, Donald served in the Air Force from 1953 - 1957. His many interests included golf, bowling, world travel, camping, movies and spending time with his family. He loved doing home projects (tinkering) and using his computer.
