Donald Lee Autrey passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the age of 71. He died after battling with liver disease and cancer since 2019.  Donald was born on September 22, 1951 to Robert and Dortha Autrey in San Bernardino, California. The family moved to Tracy, California when Don was in the fourth grade. Don graduated from Tracy High School in 1969. He served in the Army from 1971-1973, then returned to Tracy and served in the reserves until 1977. Don graduated from San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, California in 1987. He worked in construction, carpentry, and as a handyman. Donald developed a "wanderlust" and moved to Orofino, Idaho in September, 2013 where he enjoyed his "retirement." He enjoyed building things, including his cabin and work shed, and working on his trucks. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Don became a Christian in 2022, and is now in heaven with the Lord. Don is survived by his son Michael David Autrey and his sister Dortha Ann (Dotty) Anhaiser. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Selle Autrey, mother Dortha Ora Autrey, brother Robert Daniel Autrey, sister Margaret Elaine Nixon and sister Betty Jane Ward.
