I recently lost my dad unexpectedly I'm a only child and have no relatives that I've talked to in the last 20 years and nobody has reached out. My dad had planned on leaving me enough money to cover his funeral expenses and for whatever reason he wasn't able to. I'm so scared I won't be able to give him the funeral he deserves cuz I don't have any money for it and I've been out of work myself due to the covid situation . This has me stressed out and so broken hearted. My dad was my everything he was my dad my rock my best friend he raised me by himself from the age of 13 and never once gave up on me or let me down. I wanted to give him the same respect as he is now not going to be here to see his only grand daughter grow up we won't hear his voice every night when he would call to tell us good night and he loved us this is rearing me apart. I would use the money to have a proper funeral such as a cremation (his wishes ) a nice but reasonbly priced urn memorial service and possibly a private service at the cemetery if that's where they would out his urn. I'd like to be able to send flowers and show how much he meant to me and how wonderful of a father he was. I would use the money for his funeral expenses only if there was anything left I would donate it to someone else in need as I know the awful feeling of not having any money to have the kind of funeral a parent deserves . I created this fundraiser because financially I'm struggling and I'm so embarrassed but I don't want to regret not trying to show my deepest respects love and mostly lay my dad to rest in peace.
