Donald's obituary

Donald K. Weaver, 42, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025 after his long and courageous 30-year battle with Juvenile Diabetes. Don was a 2001 graduate of Perry High School and earned his BA in Education at Ohio University. Don dedicated his life to helping others. He worked in social services where he was known for his compassion, humor and ability to connect deeply with the families he served. He was known for his quick wit, creative spirit and boundless curiosity. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan. He was a proud and loving father to his daughter Mayssa Bean who was the joy and purpose of his life. Don cherished every moment with her.

Don is survived by his parents, William and Teresa Weaver; brother, Ryan Weaver (Nichole Kathol); daughter, Mayssa Bean Weaver and her mother, Aubrey Calvert. Don is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly. Don is preceded in death by grandparents, George and Dorothy Weaver and Donald and Patricia Saliola.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 2, 2025 at the Serbian Social Hall (4667 Applegrove St, NW, North Canton) where guests will be received between 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mayssa's educational fund. You may also visit www.reedfuneralhome.com to share condolences and fond memories.
