Donald's obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Smith, Jr., who left this world on March 12, 2025. Born on April 18, 1965, he lived a life full of love, laughter, and a commitment to family like no other.

Donald was a graduate of William Allen High School, where he established a lifelong foundation of hard work and determination that guided him throughout his life. He was a humble, dedicated, and loving individual who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Donald Smith, Sr., and Shirley (Stein) Smith. In addition, he was predeceased by his dear sister, Deborah Ann Smith. Their memories will continue to live on in his heart, and now they are reunited in eternal peace.

His legacy will continue through his brother, Daniel Smith, and David Smith, who will remember him for his strength and kindness. His cherished son, Jacob Smith, will forever remember the loving father Donald was.

Donald's memory will also live on through his nephews Chad Torres, Christopher Counterman, and Brad Stevens, and his nieces Charisse Smith, Ashley Smith, Heather Rex, Haley Smith, and Emily Smith, who held a special place in Donald’s heart. His sister, Diana (Smith) Torres, will hold onto the bond and memories they shared.

The loss of Donald is deeply felt by his extended family and friends. We will forever appreciate his loving nature, his deep sense of family, and how he uplifted us all with his wonderful sense of humor and compassion. His legacy will continue to inspire and guide us. He will be dearly missed.
