I am very saddened to hear of Don's passing. My most sincere condolences and prayers go out to the Holly family. I have know Don for almost 40 years. He was my GM when I was fresh out of high school and have so many great memories of working with him first with Bennigan's and most recently with Portillo's. Don was a loyal friend and mentor. He will be remembered and sorely missed!

I was so shocked & saddened to hear of Donnie's death especially since I had texted him that morning. It was so wonderful to have him over for Thanksgiving & for my mom's surprise birthday party both in Buffalo, NY a few years ago. Every since we, as cousins, were little & up until now, I have always called him Donnie. Sending my condolences to his three children and the entire family. He will be missed...😘💕
