We are saddened to announce the passing of Mr. Donald Havlin, beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Born March 11, 1928, Mr. Havlin lived a life full of love and commitment to his family and his community, until his peaceful passing on June 6, 2005.
Donald will be fondly remembered for his enduring wisdom and infectious optimism. One of the best lessons he was known to share with anyone who would listen was "That's; anyone can make it to heaven." This deeply held sentiment expressed his unwavering faith and belief in the inherent goodness of all people, and it resonates strongly with all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Among many, one of Donald's greatest accomplishments was his role as a family man. He was a devoted husband, a loving father and a doting grandfather. His commitment to his family was unmatched and he left an indelible legacy of love and understanding for his family to remember and follow.
Donald also had a tremendous passion for playing golf. He found solace and joy in the sport and his enthusiasm was contagious. He is remembered as not just a player but a friend and mentor to many in the golfing community.We take comfort in knowing Donald Havlin has found peace at the end of his earthly journey. His spirit lives on in the hearts of his loved ones and in the life lessons he shared with us all. He will be missed.
