I served as an FAA Test Pilot in Wichita, Kansas when Don was a test pilot for Cessna.  I flew with him several times, including my first flight in the Cessna 560XL in 2002.   Don Alexander, who had many careers in flight test, including USAF, FAA, McDonnell Douglas, and Cessna was a TOTAL PLEASURE to fly with. Most guys with that amount of experience would probably not give me the time of day…but Don was giving, kind and fun to fly with. What a gentleman!

Rest Donald, until you hear at dawn,

the low, clear reveille of God.

Thank you for your service to this nation. Career U.S. Air Force, Lt. Col.

Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on,
and cherished memories never fade because a loved one’s gone.
Those we love can never be more than a thought apart,
for as long as there is memory, they’ll live on in the heart.

It was such a pleasure to have worked with and be in the company of Don Alexander. He will be missed, but never forgotten! Rest in Peace, dear friend!

I had the pleasure of working with Don for many years. He was a great test pilot, engineer, and friend. He was always a gentleman and I appreciated his professionalism and expertise. I enjoyed flying with him and will miss him greatly. I pray that the Lord will bring comfort to family and friends.
