Dona Ann Lee
February 9,1937 - October 27,2022
Dona Ann was born in Elizabeth, Louisiana to Harvey and Ellender Burrow. She attended Sulphur High School, graduating in 1955. She later attended Western Union School in Oklahoma.
She was the widow of John T. Lee, married September 27, 1956to whom she was a supportive US Air Force wife for 20 years, a wonderful mother to four children, Peggy (Wesley) Simms, Ocean Springs, MS. Kathy (David) Pascal, Vacaville, Ca. James (Kelly) Lee, McKinney , Tx. Grace Calaci, Leesville, La., and had 18 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, and 7 Great Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by her Sister (Puddin) Ellender Jane (Paul) Frederic.
She was a member of the Holly Grove United Methodist Church, the Local Order Eastern Star, The Mineral and Gem Society, a member of the Masonic Auxiliary, and a Red Hat Society.
Her job endeavors included a donut shop outside the gate at Pease AFB, NH where the Military Police enjoyed fresh donuts every morning, and as a cafeteria manager at K-Mart in Fairfield, Ca. Upon returning to Louisiana she was a personal secretary at the West Louisiana Ice Co. She was also secretary at Holly Grove United Methodist Church for many years and helped plan for the Home Coming at the Historic Church.
She had many hobbies but they are too numerous to list. She enjoyed bingo and the Bible. She especially enjoyed her time with her grandchildren and family.
She is preceded in death by her late husband, John T. Lee, her parents, Harvey and Ellender Burrow, her siblings, Robert H Burrow, James H. Burrow, and Lula Virginia Burrow Backlund, and her Son in Law's, Richard Eigenheer and John Lucas.
Services held at Holy Grove United Methodist Church at 1:00 PM on Friday November 4th. In Leiu of flowers the family request donations to be made to the Shriners Burn Hospital or The Gideons International in her loving memory: Dona Ann Lee.
