Dona I will miss our calls, our visits, and our laughs over a great glass of wine! There was not anyone who could have looked after or loved my Dad any better or any more than you did. You were always so wonderful to Tristan and Audrey, and were there for our family whenever we needed you. The love extended by you and your family to ours was one of the greatest gifts we ever could have hoped for. Your laugh, your exuberance and your humor I will miss beyond measure. Our road was complicated but became one of the most important ones in my life. We will miss you ... rest assured the term "Nana Dona sized" ice cream bowls will forever be a fixture in our home! I take comfort knowing you and Dad are together now - rest well in the arms of our Lord in Heaven together.
I loved Dona the first time we met. Her sincerity and love for family gushed from every pore of her being. I will miss her calls, and my visits to Brantford. To Tammy and Chuck, Val and Barb, and your families, my heart is with you.
We have many, many wonderful memories of our visits with Aunt Dona - which we will cherish. She was kind, welcoming, generous - all around, a wonderful woman. Sending our deepest condolences to her entire family.
