Don Roman Wolford, 71, passed away in Long Beach, on January 17th, 2021 after a mysterious case of Covid-19 that seemed to come out of nowhere. He enjoyed an active life in a variety of 12-Step Programs, Alcoholics Anonymous, Alanon, and Adult Children of Alcoholics. Don was a Biblical Scholar who loved Israel and it's people. Don prided himself in staying committed to a life of peace, clarity, and empathy. In the 12-Step World, he kept active helping newcomers, keeping up with commitments and above all, putting God, meditation, and Peace first. He had a successful career in the Printing/Manufacturing industry and appreciated being his own boss. When he wasn't flying around on business trips, collecting books on personal development, he was active on the slopes as an avid skiier. He leaves behind his beloved 12-Step family, his brother and sister, a niece he sponsored in Recovery, nephews, his sister, and many beautiful grand-nieces, and grand-grand nieces and nephews. He will be surely missed by all those who appreciated the value of obscure books, quoting philosophy, meditation, and deep empathy for all things.
