Don Shockley, 89, passed away peacefully on Oct. 11, 2023 in Cookeville, TN. Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. His charming character invited people to know and love him.
He was born on June 7, 1934, to Hazel Cox Hix and Joseph Shockley in Van Buren county, TN. He grew up in Chattanooga, TN where he attended Chattanooga City High School. He excelled in football, baseball, and boxing and was in …
