-
What is your mission?
Circle of Life is committed to compassionate end-of-life care for a person’s body, mind, spirit, and family when there is no longer a cure.
-
How are donations used?
We currently serve over 1,500 patients a year and provide grief care and education to more than 4,000 people yearly. We couldn’t do it without the help of the community. Your generosity allows Circle of Life Hospice to serve patients regardless of diagnosis, age, or ability to pay. Your gift helps support the Earlene Howard Hospice Home, the Marie and John Carr Hospice Home, and all those we serve in their own homes and nursing and assisted living facilities.

What is the history of your organization?
Circle of Life became an independent 501(c)(3) organization in May of 2000. Since that time, Circle of Life has focused exclusively on end-of-life care. Our mission is to provide compassionate end-of-life care for a person’s body, mind, spirit and family when there is no longer a cure. Our core values include compassion, inclusion, respect, comfort, leadership and excellence.
Our hospice services are available to patients in their own home, at a nursing facility, or through one of our two in-patient hospice homes. We provide hospice services to patients in Benton, Carroll, Madison and Washington counties.
In 2006, the first and only free-standing hospice home in the region was built. The Earlene Howard Hospice Home in Springdale opened with 16 patient rooms. It was immediately clear that additional beds would be needed and an 8-bed expansion was completed in 2009. In April of 2013, Circle of Life opened the permanent 24 bed in-patient hospice home located within Legacy Village in Bentonville.
