Don Ray Pierson, 75, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on March 1, 2025. Born in Rawlins, Wyoming, on October 9, 1949, Don lived a life filled with adventure, service, generosity, and unshakable optimism.
Don served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force and the Alaska Air National Guard, where he flew T-37 Tweets, T-38 Talons, AC-130 Spectre Gunships with Special Operations Command, and C-130 Hercules Tactical Airlift missions. Following his military service, he continued …
