Don was always cracking jokes. He was a very light hearted person that loved to have a good time. Don and Rose became friends with my grandparents when I was a young girl and they were there to watch me grow up. I have a lot of really great memories with Don (and of course Rose). It would be impossible to recount them all here, but things that come to mind: 4th Street Bowl, The Bold Knight, Orwood Resort, them saving me from being “ditched” at the gas station, boating, fishing, camping, Don asking for my leftovers, the way he would “hee hee” or say “look it”…. One of the hard parts of growing up is saying goodbye to the ones we love and also closing the door on those times in our life they were a part of. Rest in peace Don, I hope you’re up there catching the biggest fish of your life 💙💙💙
