Dominique Fortuna, age 31, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on December 29, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Born on January 6, 1994, in Berwyn, Illinois, Dominique was the beloved daughter of Joseph John Fortuna and Suzanne & James Vincent Trafficanta. She was known for her sharp sense of humor, quiet strength, and deep passion for the people and things she loved. Dominique had a way of making others feel comfortable simply by being herself—authentic, thoughtful, and deeply caring.

Affectionately known as “Niche,” Dominique had a true love for the arts. She found joy in drawing, photography, movies, writing and reading, and was always eager to lose herself in a good story. Her collection of books grew over the years, each one a reflection of her curiosity and imagination. She was the kind of person who made the perfect companion for a movie theater outing—thoughtful, observant, and appreciative of the beauty in storytelling.

Dominique’s life touched many, and her presence will be profoundly missed.

She is survived by her parents, Suzanne & James Trafficanta and Joseph J. Fortuna; her brother and sister-in-law, Joseph & Rebecca Fortuna; and her grandmother, Julia Pearson. She also leaves behind countless friends and loved ones who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
