Dominique's obituary
Dominique "DJ, PA" Blount departed this life on November 21, 2023. Born on July 25, 1992, Dominique was a dynamic and vibrant personality, whose charm, humor, and vivacity brightened the lives of those around him. Known fondly as DJ, or PA, he was always careful to ensure that those whom he loved knew of his deep affection for them.
Predeceased by his beloved Grandmother, Donna Carter, Dominique leaves behind a loving family. This includes his mother; Laura Young , his step-father; Ryan Oscar Young; his cherished daughters, Legna' Blount, and Camille; and his dear sisters, Brittany Magnano of California, Ryan Young, and Jadyn Young of Virginia, love for his nieces, Aliya Cooke and Jordyn Copeland, knew no bounds. Their memories of Uncle DJ, will keep his spirit alive. He also leaves behind a host of cousins spanding several cities, a half sister, and two step-sisters. He lit up the room and drew everyone's attention and we are saddened with his loss.
Dominique was a man of simple pleasures. He obtained his GED on November 29, 2016, demonstrating his commitment to self-improvement. A fan of Middleswarth barbecue potato chips, he enjoyed an ice-cold glass of water or loved his liquor as well. Games of Fish tables brought him much joy, and the beach was always his preferred vacation spot. It was these small delights that made Dominique's magnetic personality so endearing.
In his departure, the world loses a lovable jokester; his silly antics and hearty laughter brought joy to everyone. Despite the grief, we celebrate Dominique's life and the love he shared with us. We commemorate the light he brought into our lives, his silly sense of humor and, above all, his unending love that we were privileged to have been a part of.
To honor Dominique's life and legacy, a Memorial Service will be held on December 16, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Serenity Funeral Home Inc. We invite all those who knew and loved him to join us in this celebration of his life.
Rest in peace, Dominique. Your memory will forever remain in our hearts and minds. Our beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin & friend.
