Dominic "Ivor" Sanderson, 70, of Missouri City, TX, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2023, after experiencing medical complications.


Ivor was born on April 24,1952 to Ira Sanderson-Richardson in Snell Hall, Grenada.

 He landed his first job as a bus driver working for his good friend for 10 years.  Ivor was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Deyon, Yanick, Omar, Toniann and Lomar and his grandchildren Kyle, Aaron and Noah and always tried his best to support them. 

 Ivor was also a passionate mechanic. He loved watching old westerns, wrestling and martial art movies and could often be found sitting in his favorite chair talking on the phone with family members and watching his favorite shows. 

 Anyone who knew Ivor knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for.  He is survived by Lomar, Kathy, Deyon, Yanick, Omar, Toniann, Kyle, Aaron, Noah, Zayden, Debbie, Susan, Danielle, Sandy, Sharon, Jean, Alan, Masheeda, Tafari, Rashid, Tafari Jr, Ledon, Diana, Gloria, Norma, Martin, Agnes, Catherine, Syron, Thelma, Denele.
