Dominic Lee Ayres, 65 of Wilmington, Delaware died Sunday, April 5, 2026, at home. Born in Snow Hill, Maryland, he was the son of the late Jeanette Marie Ayres Parker and late Billy Davis Sr.

He was a member of Mt. Wesley United Methodist Church at a young age until he moved to Wilmington, Delaware after graduating from Snow Hill High School in 1978.

He will be cherished by his father, Alonzo Parker Sr of Snow Hill MD; one daughter, Dineise Gibson of Winston-Salem North Carolina, two sons, Dominic Pulliam of Wilmington Delaware, Brandon Gibson of Wilmington Delaware, 11 grandchildren, five brothers; Dwayne Ayres of Wilmington Delaware, Alonzo Parker Jr of Salisbury Maryland, Maurice Parker of Charlotte North Carolina, Billy Davis Jr, Donell Davis, two sisters; Shermita Ayres of New Jersey and Linda Davis, a special Auntie Mildred Ayres of Wilmington Delaware, uncles, great aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 1:00 – 4:00 pm at Masjid Al Kauther Muslim Center of Wilmington, Inc., 2102 Northeast Blvd, Wilmington Delaware 19802
