Mingo's obituary
In Loving Memory of Mingo
Domingo Montero passed away on March 13, 2026 at the age of 63. Born in Havana, Cuba, Domingo came to the United States at the age of seven, where he built a life filled with creativity, kindness, and meaningful connections.
Domingo was a man of many talents and passions. He had a natural gift for fixing things, a brilliant mechanical mind, and a unique ability to invent and create. In his younger years, he expressed his love for music as a DJ, bringing joy and energy to those around him. Music remained a part of who he was—just like his laughter.
Another great passion of Domingo’s was his Harley. He truly loved riding, always excited by the feeling of the wind and the sense of freedom it gave him. Those moments on the road brought him peace and happiness, reflecting his free spirit and love for life.
Known for his joyful personality and quick sense of humor, Domingo had a way of making everyone smile. He was always ready with a joke, a helping hand, or words of encouragement. He cared deeply for others and never hesitated to support those in need. His kindness and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Domingo was more than just a talented and creative man—he was a true friend, a genuine soul, and someone deeply loved by all whose lives he touched. His presence brought light into the lives of many, and his memory will continue to do the same.
He is survived by his loving wife, Celeste; his children, Jose, Brittany, and Alexis; his beloved grandchildren, Milo and Ozzy; his older brother, Roberto; and his sisters, Maria and Esther. He also leaves behind three nieces, eight nephews, and fifteen grand-nieces and nephews, all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts.
He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
