Together for the holidays

My deepest condolences to Dolores' family, especially her beloved children and grandchildren. Dolores was a storyteller, who adored her family, appreciated connection, and the blessings of life, even in the hardest times. Her faith was strong.  I met Dolores when I was a volunteer order taker for Store to Door, we met when she lived independently, Dolores became a special friend and my Oregon Grandma. She inspired me with her wisdom, courage, love for humanity, belief and presence. She valued the small things and taught me so much about the significance of the various stages in life. She would remind me at the end of every phone call. "The best is yet to come Rhian."

I'm heartened to believe that she is experiencing the "best" of love, harmony, peace, comfort, and equanimity in these moments. God Bless you Dolores, you're home.

My condolences to Dolores's family. I first met Dolores when [ describe how you know each other ] and we would often [ include common activities together ].Dolores and I met at TOPS over 40 years ago. She was such a dear friend to me throughout those years. We especially enjoyed having lunch together, especially celebrating our birthdays. Our last lunch was in 2019 at the Stockpot, celebrating both of our birthdays. Among other restaurants she enjoyed were Sherry’s  and. The. Village Inn. I will miss her so much. I treasured our friendship. Thinking of her family at this time with love.

Mom taught me about the love of Jesus. She was always there with a helping hand, a word of comfort or advice, and she never let me forget how much she loved me. She would always say she loved me "acres and acres". The most important thing about her was her strength and great faith. She would uplift and inspire anyone who needed it. She was my rock, someone I admired so very much and I will dearly miss her forever. Your Loving daughter, Debbie
