On January 12th, 2023, Dolores (Boppie) Wilkie passed away peacefully in her sleep in Minneapolis, MN. She was eighty six years old. Born in Brooklyn NY in 1936 on August 12th, and a 20 year resident of Huntington NY, she was the daughter to the late Sigmund and Josephine, and sister to the late Victoria and Marie. Dolores was a loving Mother, Grandmother and a Substance Abuse Counselor.

As a single mother of four she drove a day camp van, served lunch food in school cafeterias and took long night shifts on her feet at a printing press to provide opportunity for her family. She would proudly boast about her children and grandchildren whenever given the opportunity. She had a big laugh and a bigger heart. She loved family, music, movies, comedy and good food (and Elvis).

Dolores was predeceased by her son Matthew Thomas Wilkie. She is survived by her three children John William Wilkie, Kathleen Ann Wilkie (Robert Kulfan) and Mark Douglas Wilkie (Tamara Schneider), and her four grandchildren Pigeon Wilkie, Katelyn Ann Kulfan, Ryan Patrick Kulfan and Josephine Rose Wilkie.
