Background
It was Monday night (10/23/23) when my mother and baby sister came to my house after “trunk or treat” at school. Everything was perfect my mother was happy playing with her grandchildren laughing making jokes. She asked me if I could make her food and so I did, everything was great everyone was having a good time I finished the food and told my mom. I walked into the living room and I seen my mom didn’t look okay I asked her if she was okay she kept holding her head and said I will be. I gave her water and sat her down on the couch. Then walked into the kitchen to get ice, when I walked back in the living room my mom was passed out on the couch. Eyes and mouth wide open I immediately yelled call 911. I checked my mothers pulse and it was very weak pulse. When the EMT got to my house they put my mother on the floor asked a million questions on what happened and put a cpr machine on her. My mom stop breathing for exactly 37 minutes before they were able to get a pulse again. My mother went into cardiac arrest and the hospital couldn’t tell me why because every test came back healthy and negative. So we was thinking my mother in a vegetative coma. Yesterday (10/26/23) her MRI results were reviewed and my mother is brain dead meaning her state is permanent and would not be able to breath without the machine. October 28, 2023 our mother was declare deceased at 6:45PM. My mother has three children Lisbeth age 20 , Amyia age 9 and myself (J’roux) age 27. It’s my responsibility to make sure my Lisbeth continues college stress free and work free so she can do the best that she can and to make sure Amyia does nothing but thrive for success. It’s extremely hard for me because I wasn’t expecting my mother to be gone at such a young age (47) but I ask everyone for help while im planning my mother’s funeral, so I can be able to keep my sister in school and be able to maintain their house along with my home. My mother left 3 grandchildren, 2 daughters and a son behind be we will all make her very proud because she deserves that. Thank you for your time and support our family couldn’t thank you enough.
