D.J. (Dale Joseph) Huff

DJ Huff (29) was born April 28, 1993. He left this world on July 27,2022. He was a lifelong resident of Murfreesboro TN, & graduated from Smyrna High School in 2011. 

He is survived by his loving parents, Dale & Linda Huff,older sibling, James Huff. Aunts and Uncles; Marie & Clinton Stonewall, Jane & Matt Adams, Denny & Jutta Huff, Dean & Allyson Huff, Sam & Jan Huff. Cousins & their children; Marina, Mark, Javonda, Lauren, Madison, Mike, Kelsey, Weezy & Judah Stonewall.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents; George & Helen Yenchik, Loretta & Ward Huff, Uncle Jerry Huff, & Aunt Karen Jones all of Akron, Ohio. 

DJ was also an Eagle Scout! His scout project was putting in benches, a picnic table, & an information station at Snail Shell cave. 

DJ was a very goofy person with a good heart & loved camping & being outside. He wanted to be the best father to Lilly and very much enjoyed the time they spent together. May she know he tried his best.

Our family is devastated by this loss & none of us wanted things to end this way. DJ had plans to become better & start a new life, and we can only try and take that sentiment & become better ourselves. He would have wanted us to say; Carpe Diem! (Seize the day!)

He was very much loved by many friends & family, Especially his lifelong partner, Summer Simpson.
