My beloved Gaydeski cousins, it is with a heavy heart that I will not be able to attend on Saturday. ( I have an 11:30 appointment) that I couldn’t change. I would have to drive like a madman (woman) to make it by three.) Just wanted you to know how I considered your parents as my second parents and you kids were more like siblings to us. I know our parents are together playing pinochle and keeping track of who won the most games for the year.

I will forever cherish our time together sewing for Stitches From the Heart preemies, Sequim Cancer Center, Forks Community Hospital and Long Term Care, and the Caring Place. “Grandma Dixie” became my 2nd mother over the years and we shared many fun outings - mostly to JOANN Fabrics and to visit with Lee and Birdie, and sharing stories. I can hear her now - “poop, damn” and talking about her beloved kids, Lawrence and the early days at the farm - bringing in the hay.
