Dirk James Evers, 65, of Steger, IL, died December 13, 2022, in Olympia Fields, IL.

Dirk was born January 8, 1957, in Hazel Crest, IL.

He attended Bloom High School in Chicago Heights, IL.

Spent over 30 years at Winpak in Steger, IL & the last few years at NB Coatings in Lansing, IL.

He enjoyed being in his garage surrounded by his passions, flipping through Hot Rod magazines, working on his endless list of projects, rescuing & caring for his animals, riding around in his jeep, and spending time with his daughter, granddaughter, brothers, and friends. 

He is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Taylor & Shane Jovanovic of Wood Dale, IL; Granddaughter, Remi Jovanovic; Siblings, Tom Evers, Todd Evers, Eric Evers, Kelly Evers & Katie Griffith; Aunts, Annette Hughes, Nancy Crowder, and Karen Hansen; Mother, Elaine Evers; several nieces & nephews; and many close cousins & friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at Willard Wood Park Center in Crete, IL
