I didn't stay in contact with you and Jerry the way I would have liked to. I enjoyed the little time we had together Thanksgiving 2018. You are a good cook and I miss you and don't want to think of you in the past tense. You are with me everyday.
Dear Gerry and family, We were so surprised and saddened to hear of Dinah's passing. We knew her for a long time. I remember times of fun and laughter when we joined her for events and special occasions. The fun times we had in each others homes. Wherever Dinah was, there would be laughs and laughter. We will miss her. She left us too soon. Loving thoughts always. Mary and Steve Schoeneck
It is hard to find comforting words for my extended family. Dinah was a good friend and confidant. She was Godmother to both of my girls., Helen and Hannah. She once allowed my oldest to swim in a pond with alligators, made me wonder about her judgement about caring for children. She taught me to fish, we always had a great time, however she would always trip on a board on the pier and would usually face plant herself! She had a drive to get things done, and was good to tell you what you should be doing. Leadership qualities, not sure about that. Sometimes it was just her being bossy, however, her intentions were always for your best interest. She was good at making a buck out of trash. Dinah always had a plan for some business.
Finally, I feel sad that we did not communicate much through these last six years, not having the option to say a real good bye. She always did things her way! She was my "older" sister in heart.
To the Lechner and the Sellers Family Light shines in the darkness for good people. For those who are merciful and just. Psalms 112:4 Dinah’s light was always shinning, a good friend, a confidant and she gave a helping hand to everyone. We will miss you our dear friend rest in peace.
