Diatra's obituary
Dee Clonan, 71, of Florida, formerly of Linton, Dallas and St. Louis, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Dee was born July 6, 1952 in Danville, Illinois. After graduating from Linton High School in 1970, she went to Indiana State University where she met her husband Cliff. In her professional life she worked in Banking and at Stetson University, where the students "kept her young and in tune to current lingo". Dee was a devoted wife, loving daughter, sister, mother, friend and follower of Christ; with her most cherished role as GiGi to four grandchildren. She was an active mother, supporting her children in all their sports and endeavors they took on over the years. When she retired, she and Cliffy bought a MotorCoach to road trip around the US - many beach camping trips with grandchildren, seeing the fall colors in North Carolina, visiting Kimberly for a trip around Lake Michigan, and out to Waco Texas to see Chip and Jo, to name a few. She celebrated her 70th birthday in North Georgia with all her family - hiking, boating and being together.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 49 years, Cliff Clonan of Fort Pierce; Daughters, Angie Clonan of Fort Pierce, Michelle Rendon (Russell) of Jacksonville and Kimberly Dautovic (Adnan) of Jacksonville; grandchildren Abigail Clonan, Dallas Rendon, Luke Rendon and Corbin Rendon. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert Sollars (1992) and Louise Sollars (2017), and brother, Rich Sollars (2011). A celebration of life will be held from 1:00-3:00pm on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Stetson University in the Lynn Presentation Room in the Rinker Welcome Center - located at 421 N Woodland Blvd, DeLand, FL 32723.
