Dianne Guest Gerdes, 84, of North Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2023 with her family by her side.

Dianne was born in Huntington, Indiana on January 8, 1939 to Freeman Maurice and Carlene Elizabeth (Fisher) Guest. They both preceded her in death, along with her sisters Sandra Rose Guest and Michelle Guest.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, George David Gerdes, her children, Kris Anne (Jon) Marschand, Michael David (Cathy) Gerdes, James Edwin Guest (Marian) Gerdes, her grandchildren, Chloe Rosanne (Jeremy) Rapp, Graham David (Abigail) White, James David Michael Gerdes, Rachel Grace Gerdes, her great-grandchildren, Harper Dawn Rapp, Everett Reed Rapp, Bryan Eldon White, and a sister, Stephanie Guest.

Dianne graduated from Huntington High School, Comptometer School and went on to earn a Licensed Practical Nursing degree. She was an avid reader, loved playing cards, camping and going to the casinos and shows in Las Vegas. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She loved her dogs and had many throughout her lifetime.

A Celebration of Dianne's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to the United Kidney Fund.
