David Cordero
Payton Street, Goleta, Santa Barbara, CA, USA

I grew up as neighbor of Dianna & the whole family 2 houses down from the Romero house during the 1970’s & 1980’s & was a couple of years younger than Dianna but attending the same schools as she did. Being the oldest of all male siblings I can’t tell you how much of a treat it was to have Dianna live nearby. She had a take no shit mentality that fit right in with the neighborhood. I can remember so vividly those hot summer months standing in front of their home watching the father Dennis, who I miss as well, washing his big rig & polish the fuel tank’s slurping on a popsicle with Dianna & her younger sister Alicia. This is just one of many memories I had growing up next door to her. As we got older & went our different ways I have never forgotten all those great memories of life on Payton St.

You will be missed Dianna. My condolences to the entire family.
